Skiing holidays to Isola 2000
If you’re an expert skier or snowboarder, Isola 2000 will probably get boring for you after 2-3 days. However, if you’re new to skiing or snowboarding, it’s a good place to start + it’s cheaper.
Isola 2000, like Auron, is located in the south of France and is therefore not far from Nice and the airport. The area has around 45 slopes, most of which are blue. Being as southern as it is, there are also a lot of sunny days throughout the year. So don’t forget the sunscreen.
The ski area is located at an altitude of 1800-2610 meters and the town is at an altitude of 2000 meters. It is possible to drive to Nice or Cannes within an hour.
The area is not among the largest in France, but it should certainly not be underestimated because there are many things to do in Isola 2000, it is possible to get in the snowpark where there are several kickers and rails. You can go heliskiing if that’s your thing. Snowmobiling is also possible.

Isola 2000 opens its ski season in early December and closes its ski areas in mid-April.
Who goes to Isola 2000?
It's typically beginners, it's a super area where 63% of the 120 km of slopes are blue. The lift pass is far cheaper than the big areas. Accommodation is cheap and there is ski-in ski-out at many of the hotels that are right next to the slopes.
