Ski tip in Silvretta Arena: The smuggler route

One of the highlights of the Tyrolean Silvretta Arena and Samnaun is undoubtedly the smuggler’s route. Following in the footsteps of smugglers from the past, skiers and snowboarders can explore the border region between Austria and Switzerland. It’s incredible the lengths these smugglers went just to smuggle some coffee.

Depending on your level, you can choose between three different routes: the most challenging Gold Smuggler route, the Silver Smuggler route, and the easiest (blue slopes only) Bronze Smuggler route.
