“Ski Amadé” is a ski area just waiting to be explored. Here, 760 km of slopes divided into 275 kilometers of blue runs, 390 kilometers of red runs and 95 kilometers of black runs are waiting to be conquered. There are 90 chairlifts, 47 gondola lifts, 81 T-lifts and 52 platter lifts. Wagrain is the heart of the 120 km ski area, Snow Space, which stretches across five separate valleys. With fast, modern lifts and a wealth of red and blue slopes, there are plenty of options for beginners and advanced skiers alike.

Beginner in Wagrain

The top of the Roten gondola is ideal for beginners. Although it’s a bit out of the center, it’s easy to get here with one of the free ski buses. Everything you need to go from total beginner to mastering turns is here, with easy slopes and an easy way to get to the blue runs through the forest where you can test your new skills.

Easily experienced in Wagrain

Wagrain scores high for intermediate skiers, with a wealth of red and blue runs and fast lifts. Why is Wagrain so popular?

It's one of the larger contiguous ski areas, there's good Aprés-ski in town, there are several restaurants - and most importantly, there are probably a lot of Danes, so it's easy to strike up a conversation with others.

This also means the ski schools in Wagrain typically employ a couple of Danes - who take groups with children. Absolut Park, a well-known snowpark due to its size, is located in Flachau-Winkl and is easy to get to - there are challenges for everyone.
