Japan as a ski holiday destination

Japan is a place few people have visited as a ski vacation destination, due to the price and travel time to get there. Japan is a ski mecca when it comes to off-piste skiing, with its huge amounts of snow in one season. Up to 19 meters of snow has been measured in one season in some destinations in Japan.

If you’re not so good at skiing that you don’t dare challenge yourself in the off-piste, I would recommend that you wait to go to Japan until you’re ready for it. Then you get something for your money in Japan.

So the reason to go to Japan on ski holidays is wild powder snow, spas, guided off-piste tours and of course authentic Japanese food in the form of Sushi
