Beginners in St. Anton

St. Anton has experienced ski instructors who will guide you safely through the basic skiing techniques with competent teaching and modern methods. The children’s slopes are strategically located in Nasserein, just a 5-minute walk from the center, making it easy and convenient for families with young skiers. Going to ski school is definitely not a shame, it’s easier to learn to ski through a ski school rather than having to adjust your technique and body position afterwards when you’ve learned it yourself.

Easily experienced in St. Anton

St. Anton offers a wealth of blue and red slopes on Galzig and Gampen. These slopes are ideal for those who want to challenge themselves a little more but still prefer safe and less steep slopes. For more advanced skiers, the challenging slopes of Valluga are a must. Rendl is the perfect choice for a calm and easy start to your vacation.

Ski safaris over to St. Christoph and Stuben are an experience if you have some skiing experience, and a day on “The White Ring” in Lech and Zürs is an absolute must.

Advanced Skiers

St. Anton is a true paradise for the daring skier with its many steep, challenging black runs and deep off-piste areas. Try the Kandahar piste from Kapall to the village or take a ride on the bumpy off-piste routes leading down from Kapall.

Snowboarding in St. Anton

Snowboarders will appreciate the many open slopes and the snowboard park at Rendl, where there are plenty of opportunities to challenge yourself and try new tricks. In addition, there aren’t many “flat” sections that are annoying for snowboarders.

St Anton – Off-Piste, backcountry & skitouring

St. Anton is famous for its many and varied off-piste areas. The 200 km of marked off-piste areas are avalanche protected. We always recommend booking a guide if you want to experience the backcountry as it can be dangerous. Then, of course, you need the right equipment for it.

St Anton’s main attractions

St Anton attracts a lot of advanced skiers with its groomed slopes with good speed and off-piste terrain in the powder-filled high bowls and upper valleys below Valluga and Schindler Spitze above St Christoph.

Valluga’s smaller peak, Vallugagrat at 2,650 m, is the highest point accessible to skiers and snowboarders without a local guide, guided experts and hikers can take the last small gondola lift to arrive at Valluga’s peak at 2,811 m, from where there are off-piste routes down to the town of Zurs in the nearby valley town.

When not on the slopes there is “Arl.rock” which is a hall with a climbing wall, in the same hall there are also tennis and squash courts, there is also “Arl.park” where there is an indoor trampoline park, there is Arlberg Escapes, 4 bowling alleys, you can try Paragliding, there are several good toboggan runs, ice skating, sleigh rides, swimming pool and wellness hotels, there is “Arlberg Wellcom” which everyone can use.
