Sjusjøen is not exactly known for its alpine skiing. However, Sjusjøen is the best in cross-country skiing. With over 350 km of cross-country trails, Sjusjøen is the place to go if you want to go cross-country skiing.
However, there is a small alpine area with 1 green, 3 blue, 2 red and 1 black piste. In Sjusjøen there is a fun park with jumps, rails and boxes. However, what you need to remember is that when you buy the lift pass for Sjusjøen, as Sjusjøen is part of “Lillehammer Ski Resort” you have access to Hafjell, Kvitfjell, Gåla and Skeikampen. So you have over 120 km of slopes to ski on.
Sjusjøen is a smaller ski resort in Norway, but there are also other places you can choose to visit, including Rauland, Røldal, Sirdal, Skeikampen, Spidsbergseter and many more.

What is Sjusøen Ski Center known for?
It's their 350 km cross-country skiing, used by Olympic athletes, among others. Where there are also 10 km of tracks that have lights in the evening. There are only 7 km of piste, so it's not the place for those looking for a week of alpine skiing.
