There are 15 ski slopes with 7 lifts to take you around the area. The longest run is 2.8 km. There are several green, blue and red slopes, as well as 1 black. There is evening skiing 2 times a week where the slopes are illuminated.
If you’re into cross-country skiing, you won’t be bored, with 230 km to enjoy in a beautiful natural area.
The lift pass for Gåla also works in Kvittfjell, Hafjell and Skeikampen. This means you have plenty of opportunities to try more than just the 15 slopes in Gåla. Children under 8 who wear a helmet can take the lift for free.
The trip to Gåla is what many people use is the ferry to Oslo and then drive the last 270 km before reaching the ski area.

When is the ski season in Gålå?
Gålå usually starts the ski season just before Christmas, preferably a little earlier. They end their season in mid-April.
