Ski holidays Zillertal Arena
Zillertal is a great and snow-sure ski area in Austria. In the Zillertal valley there are a lot of small towns, with Zell am Ziller being the largest town.
Zillertal has something for everyone, offering beginner and children’s slopes, as well as slopes for experienced skiers. The lift system is fast and there are no long queues at the lifts.
The Zillertal Arena offers 143 km, the ski area goes from 580 – 2500 meters altitude, there are 52 lifts in the Zilltertal area. Hintertux offers glacier skiing, which must be said to be the most snow-sure area, the area goes up to 3250 meters altitude and is a true gem in the area. There are several fun parks with larger kickers, rails, boxes and halfpipe.
If the 143 km of slopes are not enough, the lift pass gives you 535 km of slopes and access to a number of other areas. I recommend you do that. Then it’s 174 km blue, 287 km red and 74 km black with 178 lifts. If you’re into cross-country skiing, there are 125 km of trails.
There are plenty of restaurants, bars and shopping opportunities throughout the area. In addition, there are 2 indoor tennis courts and an ice rink.
