Argentina as a ski holiday destination
Many South Americans go to Argentina for skiing. The two areas we have written about are Cerro Castor and Las Lenas. Argentina offers beautiful scenery, skiing in several different ways, and it’s possible to go heliskiing and catskiing in Argentina at several destinations.
In addition, we know that very good meat comes from Argentina, and the same goes for wine, and the prices for it are at the very low end.
Of course, the great thing about Argentina is that the season runs from June to around October.

The most famous ski areas in Argentina
Cerro Castor – Cerro Castor is located at the very bottom of Argentina and even though the area is only at an altitude of 1130-2180 meters, this has no impact on the snow conditions. The season here extends from June to September and there are great opportunities for off-piste skiing in the area.
Las Lenas – Heli-skiing and cat-skiing isn't something that's available worldwide, so try it here, it's semi-expensive but prices are far lower than the few places in Europe and Canada where it is offered.
